Seedcamp announced on November 2 that it and Heartcore co-led a $3.75 million pre-seed round for Marble Cognition. Marble observes work in business applications, turns it into process representations and uses those representations to build agents for the existing workflow.

Process understanding comes first

The approach targets the implementation work required before an agent can take over a task. Understanding exceptions, interruptions and missing information can be as important as reproducing the most common sequence of actions.

Capture controls shape deployment

Marble describes anonymisation, employee pause controls and aggregate analysis for captured work. These controls are part of the proposed deployment model and require validation against the customer’s actual applications and data.

Savings need task-level evidence

An investor-reported customer example describes large handling-time gains. Broader economics depend on setup effort, capture coverage, inference cost and continued human review. Those measures will show whether process discovery reduces the total cost of deploying useful agents.
